Josette Paul spent her childhood in Haiti watching family members cook up fried chicken, beef stew and griyo — a popular marinated pork dish.

 

She now runs her own restaurant in Vanier, Créole Sensations. She  shared the  secret behind the traditional Haitian dish on  D is For Dinner, the weekly food segment on CBC Radio's  All In A Day.
